How I Can Help You

About Me

In my work I diagnose and treat anxiety and depressive disorders, and help in crisis situations. I use both medication and psychotherapy, primarily the cognitive-behavioral approach

In my practice I rely on the principles of evidence-based medicine. Every treatment decision is based on current scientific data, not intuition or outdated schemes. I follow modern research and try to apply only methods with proven effectiveness

It is important to me that the patient understands what is happening to them. I explain the diagnosis, the logic of treatment, and what to realistically expect from therapy, without unnecessary professional jargon and without dismissing what the person came with

Over the years of practice I have worked in very different settings: state psychiatry, emergency medical services, rehabilitation and private clinics. This experience helps me approach each case flexibly and not limit myself to template solutions

For me, an appointment is first and foremost a conversation between equals. I don't set out to "fix" a person, but try to work with them to understand what is happening and find a path that suits them specifically

I've been working with Konstantin for a year and a half now, and I'm very satisfied with the results! I'm a practicing psychologist myself, and like anyone else, I sometimes need to work through my own issues. Konstantin's main advantage is, above all, his medical background and extremely high level of knowledge across many different fields, which allows any problem to be worked through thoroughly! Of course, basic human qualities such as empathy, sensitivity and attentiveness are not foreign to this specialist either, which plays a very important role for a psychiatrist-psychotherapist!

I came to Konstantin with a huge bundle of contradictions. At times my thoughts were simply consuming me. I couldn't understand what was bothering me most, since everything piled up at once - from the search for meaning in life to my personal life. Literally after the first session, while doing an assignment, I realized the main problem, and that's exactly what we started working on. Within a month and a half the problem practically dissolved, and life became easier. Situations that used to drive me into a rage before therapy now cause at most mild anxiety, and most often I don't even get emotionally drawn into them at all.

I came with a problem in the fall. I was tormented by intrusive thoughts that I could catch, or already had, various incurable diseases - and catch them in extremely unrealistic ways. I couldn't solve the problem on my own, since these thought processes not only wouldn't leave me but kept getting worse and more frequent. The condition went so far that I lost my appetite, my sleep was seriously disrupted, and I started leaving the house very rarely, since any interaction with the outside world was perceived as a risk of catching some disease. I am more than satisfied with the results of treatment - how things were then and how I feel now are two completely different lives. Through psychotherapy I learned to work with these thoughts and cope with them on my own. Maintaining a normal state doesn't require much effort, but if it worsens I turn to Konstantin Ivanovich, who helps me get back to normal.
